I've switched completely from Windows to Ubuntu. I've in the past used various versions of Linux. This is the best I've seen. If you can't switch from windows to ubuntu you can't actually use windows. |
Ubuntu is one of the easiest Distros of GNU Linux to install. 8.10 is a little dated now though. Look into [...] for the latest release to purchase.

I give zero stars for my last purchase, the CD was damaged. I called Amazon to report this problem. So far I did not receive CD replacement. |
This is a software cd which I used to install a new OS. The software appears to be running very well.. |
I love Ubuntu. I've been using it as my only operating system for my non-work laptop for about 3 years. I'm never going back to Windows. But I'm a computer geek.
